Significant sleep disorders affect about 15% of the population. Until recently, these problems were either considered psychological or were ignored. Research on sleep has provided important information regarding normal and abnormal sleep, making it possible to develop an objective and systematic approach to diagnosis and treatment of sleep- wake disorders. At Emerald Sleep Disorders Center we apply the latest information to the clinical treatment of patients affected by sleep.
Since opening in 2000, the center has offered convenient, cost-effective service to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with sleep disorders. Our two physicians are aided by a staff of nine assistants, including night technicians, respiratory therapists and billing specialists. We have facilities for physician services, equipment rental and sales and four overnight testing rooms. We relocated in 2010 - check the new address and directions!
